We can continue to neglect our infrastructure and decimate public education for only so long. And besides, they barely register in the overall budget picture. If we stubbornly refuse to raise taxes, it is time to make significant cuts to the defense budget. It is nice to finally see some making this case. Hopefully, it will gather momentum.
