I watched with horror when the Republican audience cheered Rick Perry's record of executing more people than any other governor. I wondered what was wrong with a people who could cheer state-sanctioned murder. Then I saw a different Republican crowd call for the death of a man whose only "crime" was opting out of health insurance before succumbing to serious illness. And now this:
Here we have yet another Republican audience booing an American soldier serving in Iraq simply for being gay.
What is next, Republicans? Just when I think you cannot possibly sink any lower, you manage to surprise me. You have become the party of hate.
