Every time you hear a Republican whining about "class warfare," remind them that values extend far beyond trying to control strangers' uteruses and choice of marital partner. Values are also about compassion for our fellow humans, about doing what is right even when there might be a cost associated with it.

When the greed of the wealthy is given precedent over the lives of the poor, we have lost sight of our values.
