Both of my senators, Republicans of course, voted to abolish Medicare. I just finished writing to both of them to express my extreme disappointment with this vote. I suggested that if they are serious about reducing the deficit that they should look at increasing revenue by letting the Bush tax cuts expire and returning to Clinton-era tax rates.
