Tax the Corporations!

General Electric (G.E.) has the distinction of being the largest U.S. corporation. Of their $14.2 billion profit in 2010, roughly $5.1 billion was earned from domestic operations. And yet, G.E. paid no U.S. federal taxes. None. Instead, they received $3.2 billion from the government.

Somebody want to explain to me how this is good for the U.S. economy? Anyone with an interest in keeping taxes low on the poor and middle class should be outraged when corporate giants like G.E. game the system. Think how much lower our taxes might be if corporations paid their share!
